Comprehensive Functional Assessment

quantitative fluid analyzer
The biological terrain test is a functional assessment of the body’s primary body fluids. These can be tested in a clinical setting or hospital with a Quantative Fluid Analyzer (the QFA available from Heath Science Products in Arizona is my personal preference). The QFA is a series of quantitative tests on blood, saliva, and urine, the results of which are displayed in a table. A physician trained in biological terrain assessment interprets the table, and it gives a detailed picture of how well the body and its organs are working. A real-time treatment strategy can be developed that allows patient and physician to monitor the body’s recovery and to determine how well a detoxification process is going.
clinical microscopy
Microscope examination is routinely done on a patient’s blood as a qualitative test to see how the patient’s terrain is. One can see the red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, certain bacteria, and fungal markers.
The examiner takes a small drop of blood from the finger and places this on a microscope slide. Here the examiner can see the qualities of the blood. It is both educational and motivating for the patient to see his or her blood quality this way, and they will be more receptive to dietary advice. Diet changes affect blood viscosity in profound ways. The more flow and separation of blood cells, the better. The stickier the blood is, the more likely the blood will experience these signs:
- Protein excess
- Lack of digestive enzymes
- Lack of electrons
- Excess acid foods in diet
bio chemistry and physiology
- Blood chemistry panel 13 - basic hematology to check liver enzymes; pancreatic, kidney and bile function; and overall hydration
- Basal metabolic panel - electrolytes check to assess adrenal function, calcium and magnesium
- Total cholesterol panel - checks anabolic and catabolic tendencies, checks fungal indicators
- Urine-analysis - Multi-Stix 10
- Reams testing - RBTI
- Revici testing
- Metabolic type testing
- Heart rate variability
- Blood pressure – standing and resting
- Body temperature
- Breath rate and breath hold
- Weight and body fat percentage
- Accurate percentage of oxygen saturation in the blood
- Pulse rates
metabolic testing
When it comes to weight loss there is no such thing a one size fits all! With all the diet fads out there, over 90% of people who lose weight actually gain it all back.
At the clinic in conjunction with all of our in-house diagnostic tools we now offer metabolic testing that is a simple, 10 minute breath test.
During the test, the air that you breathe out is analysed to determine exactly how much oxygen your body consumed. This is how your metabolic rate is measured.
Once completed, your metabolic rate will be used to calculate your Target Calorific Zones. These zones provided powerful information to help you lose weight. Those zones will show you hoe o eat the maximum amount of food and still lose weight.
Your body will be healthy, happy and satisfied.
