They certainly do. But how much time do we really spend in the moment before we speak, about exactly what we are going to say or how we are going to say it?

NLP –  Neuro Linguistic Programming is about just that. This collection of models, techniques and strategies can help us better understand how our thought processes, behaviours and language influence the way we think and the results we get. These techniques can bring about a really positive change in ourselves and others.

So what does ‘Neuro Linguistic Programming’ mean?

NLP empowers, enables and teaches us to better understand the way our brain works (neuro) the words we use (linguistic) and how that impacts on our past, present and future (programming). It gives us strategies for observing human behaviour and learning from the best (and worst) of that!

Simply put, change is possible – all you need is a desire and a willingness to learn. NLP has been defined as the “users manual for your mind” because studying NLP gives us insights into how our thinking patterns can affect every aspect of our lives.

They increase your self awareness and new positive thoughts replace the old negative ones. You can make them totally your own and specific to your own hopes and aspirations.

Content reframing

It’s natural to worry or stress when you hit a challenge in life, but this only creates more emotional turmoil. By shifting your focus and changing your perspective, you can be more at peace. Not always easy but the more you practice, the more habitual it becomes.
