Berry Breakfast Smoothie

This is a super filling, great tasting, immune boosting smoothie that will give you a great energy boost first thing. The oats are full of soluble fibre which is good for the digestive system and the almond butter is packed full of good fats, protein and vitamin E, balancing blood sugars and great for the skin! The mixed berries are full of antioxidants which help the body fight toxins. The Bio Live yogurt is also good for the digestive system as it supports the good bacteria in the gut and you can swap for a dairy free yogurt such as soya or coconut for a vegan / dairy free smoothie. Bananas are full of fibre and potassium which is good for blood pressure and fluid balance in the body. Maybe we should rename this the All-round Super Smoothie!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups oat milk (or other milk alternative)
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1tbsp almond butter
  • 3 heaped tbsp bio live yogurt
  • 2 handfuls frozen mixed berries
  • 2 bananas

Method

  1. Add all the ingredients to your blender.
  2. Blend.
  3. Serve.
